Email integrations

Enable email forwarding to keep all your support interactions in one place and reply to your business emails from your Omnilinq dashboard. 

 

SETUP

Here’s how to integrate your email accounts with our Omnilinq platform.

If you don’t have a Omnilinq account already, click here to create one now.

Gmail

To forward messages from your Gmail account, do the following:

Log into Omnilinq and go to Administration > Channels > Mail.

Enter your support email and name that will show up as the sender of your tickets and save changes. 

Check your Gmail inbox and verify your email address. Confirm your email integration by entering your email address and the secret code you received from Omnilinq.

Go back to Administration > Channels > Mail and copy the custom email address assigned to your account

Go to your support Gmail account and click on Settings (the gear icon in the top right-hand corner) – Open the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab. In the Forwarding section, select ‘Add a forwarding address’ and then “Forward a copy of incoming mail to” and save changes.

Paste the email address you copied in Step 4 – Select Next Proceed OK. A verification message from Gmail will be sent to that address (in the Omnilinq). Click on the verification link in that message.

That’s it! All messages sent to that email account will now be forwarded to your Omnilinq and available as tickets.

Yahoo!

To forward messages from your Yahoo account, do the following:

Log into Omnilinq and go to Administration > Channels > Mail.

Enter your support email and name that will show up as the sender of your tickets and save changes. 

Check your Yahoo inbox and verify your email address. Confirm your email integration by entering your email address and the secret code you received from Omnilinq.

Go back to Administration > Channels > Mail and copy the custom email address assigned to your account

o to your Yahoo! support account and proceed to Settings – More Settings Mailboxes – Click on the primary mailbox account. Under Forwarding, enter the Forwarding Address. Select the email address you want to forward messages to. Now paste the email you copied in Step 4.

Click Verify. Go back to the Omnilinq application and follow the instructions sent to your forwarding address.

That’s it! All messages sent to that email account will now be forwarded to your Omnilinq and available as tickets.

Outlook

To forward messages from your Gmail account, do the following:

Log into Omnilinq and go to Administration > Channels > Mail.

Enter your support email and name that will show up as the sender of your tickets and save changes. 

Check your Outlook inbox and verify your email address. Confirm your email integration by entering your email address and the secret code you received from Omnilinq.

Go back to Administration > Channels > Mail and copy the custom email address assigned to your account

Go to your Outlook support account and select Settings. Select View all Outlook settings – In the Settings dialog box, select Mail > Forwarding.

Click on the Enable forwarding checkbox. After that, enter the email address that will receive the forwarded email messages. f you want to keep copies of the forwarded messages in your Outlook account, select the Keep a copy of forwarded messages checkbox – Click Save.

That’s it! All messages sent to that email account will now be forwarded to your Omnilinq and available as tickets.
